I was not genetically gifted. Wide shoulders, no waist, no eyebrows. A gut that left permanent love handles on a two-inch frame. By the time I sorted my inflammation and overtraining, I had developed hypothyroidism, gained all the weight back, plus thinning hair and cellulite from head to toe.
Without money or insurance, I turned to functional wellness to rebuild from within. And somewhere in that rebuild, I became curious about something I had been ignoring my whole life: myself, precisely.
I discovered I had been wearing my favourite colours in entirely the wrong hues. Once I identified my actual colour season and personal contrast, everything I put on my body began to work with my features instead of against them. The difference was immediate and required nothing new.
I learned that most clothing is not made for my Kibbe body type, or for most women's. Once I understood my architecture and stopped dressing for a silhouette that was never mine, the fitting room stopped feeling like failure.
Then came the deepest shift: understanding my feminine archetype. Not just an aesthetic, but an energetic frequency, the quality I carry into a room before I say a word. When your archetype informs your wardrobe, your presence stops being incidental and starts being intentional.
I did not become a different person. I became myself. Precisely.
